Turki Plays an Active Role in Middle East Peace Efforts: Victor Zmatar Print E-mail

Diorama Room, UIN Online – The Ambassador of Lebanon for Indonesia , His Excellency Dr. Victor Zmatar said that modern Turkey has an important role in Middle East peace efforts. The perseverance of Turkey can be seen after Prime Minister Erdogan officially opened cooperation and unite Arabic Countries. This was stated by the ambassador in a general lecture which was held in Diorama Room UIN Jakarta, Monday (24/5).

“Turkey is one of the many countries which are in the process of becoming a super power country. After The Prime Minister Erdogan and the cabinet opened a new session, cooperation with Arabic countries becomes tighter. This cooperation is a new breakthrough and good news for Muslim world.” Zmatar said in the lecture entitled “Arab-Turkish Relations in History and the Present Time”.

Also attended the general lecture were the Ambassador of The United Arab Emirate  (UEA), The Ambassador of Afghanistan, The Secretary of Ambassador of Libya, The Secretary of Ambassador of Syria, Rector of UIN Jakarta, lectures and students of UIN Jakarta. The event was held by Fethullah Gulen Chair of UIN Jakarta.

Fethullah Gulen Chair  is an organization  which is  dedicated to promote the  thoughts of Fethullah  Gulen.   With   his charismatic   characters,  Gulen  taught  his  followers   that the   world  is  a   place of   service    for  the  truth.  To date, Gulen    movement has built nearly a thousand schools with international  standards  in nearly  a hundred countries in the world.
