FDK Building, UIN Online - Directorate General of Higher Education of Ministry of National Education offers scholarships for prospective students of S-1 UIN Jakarta for the 2010/2011 academic year. However, this scholarship is only intended for prospective students accepted in the two departments in the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences (Fidkom), the Department of Da'wah Management (MD) and the Department of Guidance and Islamic Counseling (BPI).

That’s what the press release from Fidkom informs. The release was received by UIN Online, Tuesday (23 / 2). Head of Sub Division of Administration Fidkom, Dra Happy Hayati, stated, scholarships are for candidates who excel academically, but not financially well off (Aim Mission). The number of students who will receive scholarships in both departments is 10 people. While the value of the scholarships given is 5 million Rupiahs per semester for eight semesters or four years.

"Other prerequisites besides having outstanding achievements and not financially well off are that the students must be high school graduates of 2010 with high school certificates or equivalent," said Happy. Other requirements are prospective recipient should ranks in the 25 percent of the best in class or rank the third at the district level.

Those who are interested may apply to the Division of Administration Fidkom UIN Jakarta from 1 March to 15 April 2010. "Only eligible candidates will be processed," said Happy. (Irma/ns)
