THIS FACULTY EQUIPS students with the knowledge and skills needed to work as educators, trainers and teachers in the fields of religious and other sciences. 1. Teaching Islamic Sciences
THE DEPARTMENT OF Teaching Islamic Sciences aims to produce scholars with expertise in the field of Islamic teaching and education, with a mastery of the teaching materials and methodology. It is expected that graduates from this department will become professional teachers at elementary and secondary schools.
The core subjects offered include: Education Sciences, the History of Islamic Education. Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence, the Methodology of Islamic Science Education, Psychology. Islamic Education System Planning, Curriculum Development, Materials for Islamic Science Education, Statistics, Educational Evaluation Systems, Cases in Islamic Jurisprudence, Teaching-Learning Strategies. Teaching Media, the Philosophy of Islamic Education, Reading Islamic Classical Textbooks, Tafsir, and Hadith.
2. Teaching Arabic
THE DEPARTMENT OF TEACHING OF ARABIC aims to produce graduates with expertise in teaching Arabic. Graduates are expected to become professional Arabic language teachers at elementary and secondary schools.
Core subjects include: Education Sciences, Arabic Teaching Methodology, Arabic Grammar and Morphology, Reading Comprehension, Conversation, Teaching Planning, Arabic Curriculum Development, Arabic Technical Terms, Stylistics. Psychology of Development, Psychology of Language Learning, General Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Composition, Arabic Philology, Language Research Methodology, and Translation.
3. Islamic Educational Management
THIS STUDY PROGRAM FOCUSES on the Islamic education system. Graduates are expected to be qualified in the management and application of education in Islamic institutions. The department has two study programs, namely Islamic Education Supervision and Islamic Education Management.
THIS STUDY PROGRAM aims to produce graduates with professional skills in education management. Core subjects include: Introduction to Management, Marketing Management, Financial Management, Human Resources Management, Curriculum Management, Office Management, Educational Quality Management, Educational Leadership, Organizational Theory and Development. Operational Behavior. Analysis of Educational Policy, Psychology of Organizations, Training Program Management, Case Studies of Islamic Education Management, Ethics of Management, Organizational Communication, Technology of Education, Library Management, Conflict and Stress Management, National Education Policy, Applied Computer Studies, English, and the Management of Public Relations and Services.
4. Teaching of English Languange
THIS STUDY PROGRAM aims to produce scholars with expertise in English teaching, with complete mastery of the materials as well as the methodology. It is expected that graduates will become professional teachers at elementary and secondary schools.
Core subjects include: Education Sciences, Teaching Language Skills (Listening. Speaking, Reading and Vocabulary, and Writing), Structure and Grammar. Phonology, Linguistics, Language Tests and Evaluation, Teaching Methodology, Translation, Course Design, and Teaching Techniques.
5. Teaching Mathematics
THIS STUDY PROGRAM aims to produce graduates with expertise in Mathematics to teach at elementary and secondary schools.
Core subjects offered include: Education Sciences, the Basics of Natural Sciences, Calculus, Real Analysis, Complex Analysis. Introduction to Basic Mathematics, Linear Algebra. Structural Algebra. Horizontal Analysis, Number Theory, Geometry, Transformational Geometry, Basics of Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, Numerical Methods, Equations, Differentials, and Curriculum Analysis and Evaluation,
6. Teaching Biology
THIS STUDY PROGRAM aims to produce graduates in Biology with expertise in teaching methodology. Graduates are expected to become teachers at elementary and secondary schools.
Core subjects offered include: Basic Physics, Basic Chemistry, Basic Mathematics. Calculus, Biology, Basic Ecology, Flora Anatomy, Taxonomy of High Flora, Taxonomy of Low Flora, Basic Genetics, Basic Physiology of Flora, Zoology, the Basics of Micro-Biology, General Physiology, Animal Physiology, Histology, Animal Ecology, Virology, Introduction to Natural Conservation, and Embryology.
7. Teaching Physics
THIS STUDY PROGRAM aims to produce scholars with expertise in Physics and teaching methodology. Graduates are expected to become teachers at elementary and secondary schools.
Core subjects include; Basic Chemistry, Calculus, Electronics, Quantum Physics, Optics, Micro-Procession, Semi-Conductors, Electricity, Modern Physics, Introduction to Nuclear Physics, Physical Instrumentation.
8. Teaching Chemistry
THIS STUDY PROGRAM aims to produce scholars in the field of Chemistry.
Core subjects include: Basic Mathematics, Basic Biology, Basic Physics, Organic Chemistry. Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physical Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Instrumental Analysis, Laboratory Techniques, Synthesis of Organic Chemistry.
9. Teaching Diploma IV
THIS DIPLOMA PROGRAM aims to prepare graduates from non-education departments or study programs to be professional teaching staff at elementary and secondary schools.
